About RainSong Carbon Fiber Guitars
RainSong guitars are built entirely out of carbon fiber, so they aren't affected by changes in temperature and humidity. RainSong's guitars are immune to problems like warping, cracking, or tuning and setup instability.
These qualities make RainSong guitars ideal for players living in dry or humid climates, but the toughness of carbon fiber means they're also great for travel and gigging.
In addition to their rugged design, RainSong guitars sound amazing and are easy to play. Many people are surprised to learn that carbon fiber makes an excellent soundboard material, and it gives RainSong guitars a tone that's surprisingly close to a wood guitar while still being unique.
The Black Ice Series
The soundboard on each Black Ice guitar features a number of hand-laid carbon fiber pieces, making each one a one-of-a-kind instrument.
The underlying construction is based off of RainSong's original Classic Series guitars, which feature an all-carbon body and a tone that tends to be clear, bright, and loud.
A “no cost”option on this model, the N1 is the original 6-string RainSong neck crafted using a unique low-profile design, one that is at once comfortable and different, thin and easy to play.
The N1 is not adjustable. However, these necks are pre-engineered for optimal relief. As a result, heavy truss rods are not required and action can be set for fast, buzz-free playing.
The N1 has the same nut-width and scale length as the N2. The N1 features the“dual shark” abalone inlay on the 12th fret.
