Custom Frank Neat model built for banjo teacher Larry Watson. Built 2004.
Style 3 with mahogany neck and resonator. Style 1 inlays.
3-ply maple shell. Schaller D-Tuners pegs. Yates bridge.
According to Ricky Neat at Neat Banjos, this model has a Curtis McPeake tone ring.
Freshly dressed frets. Fully set up by former Avenue Guitars owner John Ramsey. This is a great-sounding, great-playing banjo.
Overall very clean and in great condition. A handful of small dents and dings throughout. One medium-sized scratch on the side of the resonator. Repaired hairline finish crack on back of neck below headstock. The repair was done here, and the finish crack is sealed, smooth to the touch, and barely visible.
Includes original TKL hardshell case in good condition.
