This OM2H has been customized with wenge back and sides and a 1-3/4" nut.

This beautiful tonewood has a unique black and brown grain pattern that really sets it apart from the pack. Tonally,  we feel it's very warm, deep, and open--similar to Indian rosewood but with a little more complexity. Dana Bourgeois (of Bourgeois Guitars) has this to say about it:

“Wenge, a dense, dark-colored African hardwood unrelated to the rosewoods, has tonal properties remarkably similar to those of Brazilian rosewood.”

Sitka top. Ebony fingerboard and bridge.

Note: This guitar includes a Collings Traditional handmade case. Collings has informed us that in the future this model will no longer include the Traditional case and will instead ship with a TKL case.
