Please note that we've closed our storefront and will only be taking online and email orders until further notice.

While we're not keeping regular hours at the shop, we'll still be stopping in regularly to return phone calls and ship orders. You can leave a message at (719) 634-2228 or email us at mail@avenueguitars.com and we'll get back to you shortly.

The pause in foot traffic means this is a great time to buy online. If there's something you've had your eye on, let us know and we'll see if we can make it work for you!

The E40D is Eastman's most ornate dreadnought acoustic, featuring beautiful 42-style abalone binding and rosette.

However, it's not a direct copy of a pearl-bordered Martin. Appointments like the snowflake bridge, 42-esque fingerboard inlays, and herringbone back purfling give the E40D its own unique style.

The E40D also has a solid Adirondack top in addition to the solid rosewood back/sides. It's an amazingly good-sounding guitar with a big, powerful voice and lots of volume.

  • Dreadnought body
  • Adirondack top
  • Rosewood back/sides
  • Ebony fingerboard (radiused)
  • 1-3/4" nut width
  • 25.4" scale
  • 2-5/32" string spacing
  • "Traditional C" neck profile
  • Eastman hardshell case
