Founded by Samuel Kaialiilii Kamaka in 1916, Kamaka is the oldest Hawaiian ukulele builder in existence. It's still owned and operated by members of the Kamaka family.
The HF-3 L is Kamaka’s traditional tenor size ukulele with a longer neck that joins at the 15th fret instead of the 12th. The scale length is 19" versus the standard 17" concert scale.
The longer neck and scale allows for easier access to higher frets and also provides a subtle volume boost due to the slightly higher string tension.
This special 100th anniversary edition features a beautiful custom headstock inlay that will only be available for ukuleles ordered in 2016.
