The NF-F5S is Northfield's flagship F-style mandolin. As part of Northfield's S-Series, the F5S is simply appointed but beautifully crafted, with a style that is both traditional yet entirely unique to Northfield.
Tonally, Northfield has done a remarkable job of reproducing the complex, played-in quality you'd expect from a 100-year-old instrument. Northfield's mandolins are big, warm, and powerful--it's a tone that you can feel as much as hear.
This NF-F5SB features an optional black top with sunburst maple pickguard.
