From our friends at OME in Boulder, CO, this beautiful Juniper 12" open back banjo features a classic design with tasteful old-time appointments.
Black walnut neck and rim. Ebony fingerboard with floral inlay pattern.
The aged brass hardware and tung oil varnish finish give this banjo a vintage look right out of the box.
Tonally, the Juniper offers a warm, sweet tone without sacrificing volume or clarity.
Includes Superior Geib-style hardshell case.
The Juniper features the OME heavy rolled brass tone-ring fitted to our 2-ply solid maple rim for increased response and volume.
This Juniper's 12" body produces a bit more warmth and bass than the 11" size, which tends to be crisper and brighter.
The abalone and MOP floral inlays add elegance and beauty to this simple but graceful instrument, which is offered in mahogany, walnut, and curly maple woods.
